Doing slow paced push ups is a functional exercise that is more strenuous to your muscles which can lead to quicker muscle gain. It can also make specific muscle groups stronger in a quicker time span compared to normal push ups. The biggest benefit in my opinion would be the fact that it is a great way to train your endurance, which can make you more successful in other areas of exercise!
